Dionysos is the Greek god of the vine, enlightenment, and the life-force. He is the god of women, and his entourage included satyrs and maenads. He was wedded to Ariadne.

If Dionysos is sometimes called the "bull-headed" God, and if He is deeply and anciently associated with Ariadne, Mistress of the Labyrinth, does that not make Him the Minotaur?
