You know, originally I had Loki as the poster boy on the main Gods page because He's one of my favorites. But then Dreamweaver started doing insane crazy, evil, really evil things like jumbling text and layers all on top of each other at random and ignoring the colors I inputted, blowing off my changes when I typed in a fix, making one of the menu graphics slightly wider than any of the others even though everything was exactly the SAME SIZE!!! down to a pixel, and really just f*cking things up.
So I deleted the damned thing and started all over from scratch. This time however I put Manannán there instead, and things went just fine. Well, silly me!
So, in case you couldn't figure it out from the above rant, Loki is the Norse God of Trickery and Fire. As fire can be both very helpful or very dangerous depending on the amount of attention paid it, Loki is naturally a very devious trickster. He delights in bringing chaos to situations that have become stable or boring, but his schemes invariably backfire on him. Well, they do at first, anyway; for Loki has a remarkable ability to come away from the whole thing bearing unexpectedly excellent results. Getting there, though, well now, that's a different story!
