 
Flora is the Roman Goddess of flowering plants and trees, as well as the Goddess of the springtime. She had a festival, the Floralia, which ran from April 28th to May 3rd; She had a second festival dedicated to roses at the end of May, usually the 23rd, but it depended on when the roses were in bloom.
